Spaetzle Parade: Mediterranean spaetzle with rocket
When I was asked if I would like to participate in the Spätzle parade of Birkel and Cookin, I was immediately hooked , because I love the Swabian favorite. And because spaetzle simply taste everyone, Birkel has called with the spaetzle parade to a recipe contest, where you can easily participate even without a blog.
Spaetzle are for me, as the wife of a Swabian, on top the menu. Whether classic cheese spaetzle, spaetzle as an accompaniment to pork fillet or lentils with spaetzle - once a week, we also enjoy spaetzle and low carb dishes. Since I am a friend of fresh ingredients and spring is just really loud knocking on the doors, there's Mediterranean spätzle for me today. Fresh and delicious!
Yeah, absolutely! Because the beloved Swabian favorite also tastes good in the Mediterranean way with rocket, fresh tomatoes and mozzarella, really delicious. Similar to cheese spätzle, the fresh spaetzle variant is also prepared in a flash and in the great spring weather the perfect spaetzle dish.Of course, it's up to you to decide whether you plan on making home-baked, fresh or spaetzle out of the bag.
It's so easy to take part in the Spätzle Parade:
